The Path to Law
A Suwannee High School graduate who remains deeply connected to her community, Shasmin's passion for the legal field began while pursuing her Associate of Science degree in Criminal Justice, where she also earned a Technical Certificate in Homeland Security in Law Enforcement. A proud United States Army veteran, she brings the same discipline and integrity from her service to every case she works on.
Shasmin holds an Associate of Arts degree in Paralegal Studies and is currently completing her Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies. She plans to attend law school after graduating, with long-term goals of practicing criminal law, civil litigation, and workers' compensation law, building toward a future where she can make a meaningful impact for individuals and families navigating complex legal matters.
Professional Experience
As a paralegal with The Brinson Law Firm, Shasmin assists clients and attorneys with professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine client advocacy. She is also a certified Remote Online Notary (RON), providing secure and convenient notarization services in full compliance with Florida law.
Outside the office, Shasmin is a devoted wife and mother of two, experiences that continue to shape her compassionate, determined approach to the legal profession.
