He made the Dean's List in his last year and studied at Oxford University as part of FSU Law's Summer Program. After graduating, he decided he wanted to move back home to practice law.

From Prosecutor to Defense Attorney
After working with the State Attorney’s office, he decided to switch to criminal defense. Since 2017, T.J. has represented hundreds of clients over a thousand cases. He has more than 30 trials, ranging from DUI to murder, and tries several cases a year. In addition to trials, he has filed and argued several motions challenging either the collection of evidence or the sufficiency of the facts involved.
Mr. Brinson believes in every client getting a fair outcome, whether that be a dismissal, an acquittal, or in many circumstances, a better offer to resolve. He believes that people are more than their worst day.
